Do you do custom commissioned art?
Yes. Kris does accept commissions for custom art on a limited basis. Tattooing keeps him fairly busy, so he isn’t always able to accept every commission.
How much does it cost for a custom piece of art?
Cost depends on several factors, but the largest factors are the size of the piece and the amount of detail. Both of these things have a large bearing on how long it will take to complete the piece. Other factors include the material costs, including canvas, board, paper, frame, etc., and shipping or freight costs to get the finished work to the client.
What is the rate for custom art, and will I need to pay a deposit?
The rate for custom artwork is $25 per hour, and a minimum deposit of $50 is required before the process of creating the artwork can begin. The amount of the deposit increases as the detail and size of the piece increases. A final deposit amount will be agreed upon after the details are discussed. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Can I see how the work is progressing before it is finished?
Yes. As a client you have every right to make sure the work is proceeding as planned and that it is meeting your expectations.
